So just wanted to give everyone a heads up if you are either currently running or plan to run one of the upgraded Happy Trails shifter levers. I bought one a little over a month ago that loosened up on the splines after a few weeks of riding. I went to snug it up to only have it feel like the bolt had stripped out. Emailed Happy Trails and they sent me a new one no questions asked! Heres where the story turns.... I finally had enough free time tonight to go and pull off the stripped one to just have the head of the bolt break/fall off when I went to loosen it and now I have just the threaded portion stuck in it now holding a loose shifter in place... I was very careful when doing my install and did not over torque. Im hoping I can someone get it extracted when a left sided drill bit and bolt extractor but there is VERY little space!!!! Just wanted to give everyone a little heads up so they dont have to deal with the same thing I am. Heres some pictures....
