So just watched Kelly Tuff. Its about Jim Kelly going through his battle with cancer. My shirt is officially soaked from the tears falling. This brings back so many memories. When dad got diagnosed with colon cancer in March of 2011 none of us knew what that next year was going to bring. Being in the room at every doctor visit to seeing my dads face after he got out of surgery from them removing the tumor asking if they got it all. It was a year of many first. The roughest year of all of our lives. The long serious talks dad and I would have with no one around. Shedding tears to each other. Holding him, laying with him and never wanting him to suffer the way he was. Going to his chemo treatments with him for hours and just sitting there, sometimes in silence but knowing that our presence only was enough to get him through. knowing he was in pain but him not wanting us to see it and never wanting to give up. Dad did so much for me and our entire family and he was way too young to have to go through what he did. It suck to watch. Cancer sucks period. I hold so much in and hurt so much inside. I miss my dad and wish I could talk to him again. Hopefully he is looking down over us and is proud of what our family has become. Sorry so long. Just one of those nights. I love you dad and miss you more and more everyday.......Justin
