So last night I finally went to a industry event that was so fun, classy and just a overall good time, where I saw Old friends and celebs were relaxed because they were amongst peers. The event was at the Directors Guild of America and they celebrated African American Directors Debbie Allen, Stan Lathan and Eric Laneuville (you may not know the names but you definitely know there body of work ) ..the speeches were given by Viola Davis, Salli Richardson, John Singleton ,Russell Simmons said more than 2 words and yes they even brought the hilarious Dave Chappelle out of witness protection ... To many names to name, AND although I didnt physical see you JEFF BYRD (yes I saw you looking dapper in that suit) thank you for the invite ... You and Carl Seaton did a great job! Now lets go make some movies #blackhollywoodrocks Fashionably yours
