So last night I had the honour of winning the AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography) Epson Victorian Album of the Year, an award that normally goes to a wedding album. I entered the album that was the Behind the Curtain Book, so it caps off a pretty amazing few weeks for that little project. And this is the third time ive taken out this category (twice in tas) Being judged in these conditions on such a different style of album by some photographers ive admired for years, some as long as ive been taking photos is really humbling, and to be even a finalist amongst such great company was very exciting. Happy to also report that one of my wedding albums was also in the running for the top award. Again big thank you to everyone who was involved in anyway with this project, extra big thanks to the AIPP and Epson for making the awards possible, The Arts Centre Melbourne for all their support, Peter Salmon for his great logo design, and super big big thanks to Vikashni and Saffron for letting run out and do these things.
