So last night, I took a break to water, feed birds, vacuum, sweep, etc. All is well in the big bird room. Come back to the front, clean out baby cages and one of the two turquoise babies decides to suddenly leap out and fly like crazy! Where does it land? On top of an item I have on the far top of the cupboard - a very pretty red hummingbird feeder that Trisha and Isabella gave me for having Isabellas party at our shop. I watch, knowing that thing is going to fall, since the baby is perched quite precariously on it, and sure enough, down it comes when baby leaps off. Im thinking to myself, Yep, you still got it Lisa! as I pretty much catch the item in one hand while trying to catch the baby in the other. The feeder actually hit the water cooler with one end as I caught the other end, and it went thunk, and put a hole in the top of the water jug. I stand there for a second thinking, hmmm, no big deal, reaching for the baby all of a sudden..., floooooooood! All over the floor, I grab the baby, startle it so bad it bites me really hard, I let go, it flies and I manage to grab the jug off the water cooler but lost about 2 - 3 gallons all over the floor... then my mouse battery dies, so heh... hang on just a little bit longer if youre waiting for your return... Ill be down there, bleary eyed and printing things up as fast as I can here... oh and Happy Monday!!!
