So last night I was sleeping and I was awaken by this awful kick in the chest feeling and flutter in my chest. I was really dizzy and nauseous and had chest pain and radiating up my neck. Then the kick in the chest feeling happened again. I called my heart doctor and talked to the on call and they said since this was a brand new symptom to go to the ER ASAP. I was too dizzy and having a lot of chest pain so I went by ambulance so I wouldnt have to wait when we got there. It was so scary, Ive dealt with chest pains and palpitations, but not like that before. The ER said I was having PVC, or premature ventricular contractions. My ventricle was closing before it should, it should close AFTER my atrium does (like the thump thump you hear) but was closing at once giving this jumping feeling, or this is how I understand it to be. They said to watch my caffeine even more and follow up with my heart doctor.
