So last night was challenging. Dianes low back and leg pain was terrible. She already has some back issues and laying in bed for this long has aggrivated an old problem. Just another wrinkle to iron out. She is alert and oriented. Down to one iv now. Oxygen is off. Meds for the swelling of the brain and for pain in the back and legs management continue. Will not be moved out of ICU today. These people are great but it is really noisey here with all the staff and machines . She wants to go to a quieter room. The surgon the neuroligist and the neuro intensivist have been in and seem to think that the back issue is just an unfortunate circumstance that was aggrivated by the hospital stay. They said one more day in ICU then to step down for a week. Then we will see after that. Therapy is here now. Ill check back later
