So last week I posted about the sadness of being a turtle. It was suggested by very wise HFers that I set up a pre-race dinner, etc. I ran OC this weekend. The pre-race was set, and I was able to join the fun. And oh my goodness the laughs and fun we had!!! Thanks to all who did the planning!!! The race itself was also awesome! I saw lots of friends. Met new friends, and walked myself to a happy, albeit slightly over-heated, finish. Thank you to the creators of this awesome entity that I get to be a part of. :)
