So last week jack got awarded for his swimming...duckling 123. He had no idea he was given an award no idea hed achieved any thing he was sent out a slip telling me to collect his badge at the office and that I had to pay for it. I was really upset that jack didnt get called up and awarded giving him the sense of achievement that I got when I was a kid. And really upset as I never knew that ontop of what I pay per month I need to pay for the awards too...never the less I couldnt get them last week as I didnt bring any money. Jordans taken him today and picked up the badges...it wasnt duckling 123 it was 1 and 2 and 3......he had to pay for 3 lots of awards that jack should have been awarded over time. To annoy me further the certificates have to be filled out by the teacher so we have to come back another time ffs. Is it just me or should this be odne prior to offering the awards, the kids got no sense of achievement im really angry...and I think some where in signing up we shouls have been at the very least notified that we had to pay for the awards. Weve been going for months and I was wondering how long it would take to get an award he was doing so well...he had and they just didnt give it to them!
