The trouble was- as the argument has been presented by most- that we are faced with a choice- either we can ban flights, and thus risk unidentified, un-screened people from sneaking into our country illegally, or have potentially infected people make it through screenings before symptoms occur and come to our country with the virus. I was leaning against a travel ban merely because I am not okay with an open border from which potentially ebola infected people may illegally enter- ohly to realize it shouldnt be an either/or issue. We should have travel bans AND should FINALLY secure our borders.
