So let me tell you how the universe works. Earlier this year I decided I was going to do something special for Ebony Roberts birthday. I had no immediate idea, other than I wanted it to be something memorable and unique to her personality. I came up with a few ideas that were pretty dope, but that I was unable to make happen. Then I got struck by an idea to take her on a Hot Air Balloon ride. I did some research and called the company to set things up. They company then told me I had to call and set up the date for the package I ordered with the pilot. When I called I discovered the days available were either before or after her birthday depending on the weather. Instead of giving up on the idea I explained that her birthday was coming up and I really wanted to surprise her. The man who set up the day said he empathized said he understood and would make an exception for me and get me the day I wanted at no additional cost. The catch was that I had to wait two hours before flight time to call and find out if we were going to be able to fly in the weather. I was nervous when I made that call at 4:45 yesterday because I wasnt sure we would be able to fly. When he said it was a go, I was beyond excited, but in order to keep it a surprise I had to act as if nothing special took place. When we arrived and listened to other peoples stories of having to wait for a year to get their flight I said a silent prayer of thanks to the Universe for accepting my desires and blessing us with the chance to do something special for her day.
