So lets talk about Ed Sheeran... So Im a fan. No, thats not right. I ADORE him. His music speaks to my soul. (Is that melodramatic enough?) Anyway, I actually heard this song several weeks ago on the radio and that night after work I pulled it up on my Google Play and pulled hubbalicious into my arms and started a similar quasi-daydream dance/ trance that in my head resembled this video with spectacular lighting and costumes and all....only he didnt really get it or have the same vision as I did in this moment and we were not on the same wavelength. He also wasnt into it probably because hes not a big fan of my musical choices AND I really think he gets confused when I try to start random dance parties in the kitchen sometimes. And to be fair, even when he does get into my dance party sessions, my spastic dance parties are more Lady GaGa kind of moments, complete with the occasional Running Man dance moves and fist pumping with a spatula as I scream/sing some random techno-pop fluff mix. Its just not a regular thing to have a Googley-Eyes-Romantic-Lets-Treasure-This-Beautiful-Moment kind of dance party. So this was totally foreign to him and he looked at me a little funny and then kissed my forehead and pretty much gave me an awkward hug/ shuffle thing and then the moment was gone. I sighed heavily when he walked away from me to start dinner I thought... Geez! What a rip-off! Hahahaha (Sidenote: For those that dont know us well we are more of a High-Five, I still like you after all these years, Isnt that awesome?! kinda couple rather than a smoochy, holding hands, flowers and fluttering eyelashes kinda couple and we DO adore each other, we just arent romantic like that and 99% of the time that is just how we like it... But today I saw this video... and all I could think was YES! RIGHT ON ED SHEERAN AND FANTASTIC DANCE LADY! THIS IS TOTALLY HOW I ENVISIONED HOW THAT MOMENT IN MY KITCHEN SHOULD HAVE GONE!...If either of us could dance... or sing... or be romantic. *SIGH* Yes, so this will be my romantic daydream for the rest of the day! :) Oh Ed Sheeran. I heart you and your romantic schmultzy songs/videos that make me feel the feelings! ;) Happy NYE again... I just had to share!
