So little did Cindy and her buddy, ANDY - A0974921, figure that a stroll down a Brooklyn street would lead to separate cages at Brooklyn ACC! No doubt they were sure that their people would come to get them out of this chaotic, noisy, scary place where they make you sit in a cage waiting forever to be taken out to do your business. But those people haven’t come and its hard to understand why. Cindy and Andy are wonderful, well socialized dogs who somebody, somewhere took decent care of. Both were found to have no health problems, both at decent healthy weights, and both were more than cooperative during a scary medical exam. So cooperative that examiners used words like “relaxed throughout exam” and “easy to handle, very relaxed” when describing Cindy and Andy. But being very pretty, very friendly doesn’t count for much at ACC and they’ve got Cindy on tomorrow’s euthanasia list. In a perfect world, Cindy and Andy would go on to their new lives together, but tonight, Cindy has to be the focus. Tonight Cindy needs to find that special person who sees that this is a wonderful family dog who, at 2 years old, is old enough to be done with all those baby puppy things and young enough to enjoy all the adventures life has to offer her. Are you ready to be there with Cindy as she begins her new adventure? If you are, speak up to foster or adopt Cindy. But do it right now—tomorrow, Cindy will be permanently separated from everything she loves…she’ll be gone forever.
