So looking back: Thanks to Franny for inviting me to ride 100 miles with her, To Stuart for enduring many lonely nights and weekend days while we trained , To Riley, Cody and Boo for offering canine comfort, To Lisa Hinson, Tammy Krings, and Mary Mary Beth Cowardin for beginning Girls With Gears, to support Pelotonia and to invite and encourage girls and women, and through them, To Pj Barton who opened her circle of extraordinary athletes, hilarious fun merchants and empowering mentors: Jen Cooper, Jj Good, Reynette Magyari, Susan Brown, Terri Evans, Jennifer Matthews, To Aneca Lasley, Deb Stype, Brandi Schaeg Hann, Jenny James and Franny Lazarus who saw me through 100 up and down figurative and literal miles, To Jim Coleman who told me about compression socks, To Melissa and Mary Jo who worked months to restore my body, To Stuart, sisters Kathy and Sally, brother Andy and Angie Fifer, Pitt Crew Extraordinaire, To Lily, Erika and James Decker and John Looker who continue to teach me on a daily basis how to live, To all of the other people in whose name I was honored to ride, To my Pony Express who covered 100 long miles and 12 equally long hours with me, To Dr. Caligari, Tom Lennox, Kelley Griesmer and the sponsors of Pelotonia13 who give us the inspiration to join together for One goal, To my donors and all of the other generous believers, And to the ocean of volunteers and supporters all along the 100 miles who brought us to the finish line safely and together, I thank you and I call for blessings upon you.
