So, looking up what the average pay for industrial management, - TopicsExpress

So, looking up what the average pay for industrial management, since that is the degree that Im working towards (to be finished 12/16... fingers crossed). The average is $55k. Whats sad is that at one point I was making $50K without a degree with a company that I moved up the ranks with, through hard work and dedication. I will say this much... depending on what you want to do with your life, it is not always necessary to get a degree. That being said, I would highly recommend anyone to get schooling to be an engineer... any kind really. That seems to be the best paying degree you can get. For me, going back to college and getting my degree is simply to finish what I started. I was so close 15 years ago to graduation, but quit because, well... life happens. Now Im in a place, a great place, where I have a loving and supportive husband who is as excited as I am about finishing my degree. NOW... when I do start working again and become a financial contributor to our household again, a nice chunk of my pay will be going towards our retirement. Unfortunately, I have never been in a place to save for my future until now. I dont know about you guys, but I dont want to have to work the rest of my life because I didnt prepare myself. This girl will be looking forward to her 60s! Anyone who hasnt started saving and setting back for retirement, start now!
