So many are falsely teaching that certain (everlasting) commandments of our Creator are no longer valid because we do not see them specifically repeated by Yeshua Messiah in the text of the Brit Hadasha (New Testament). What these individuals fail to realize, is that DOING IS TEACHING. Yeshua Messiah came as the perfect example for how were to live our lives, and were specifically instructed over and over again to follow Him... ...Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men. -Matthew 4:19 And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. -Matthew 10:38 Then Yeshua said to His disciples, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. -Matthew 16:24 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. -John 10:27 If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor. -John 12:26 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. -1 John 2:6 Everyone is familiar with popular phrases like, actions speak louder than words, and the importance of leading by example. Daily, parents teach their children not only through verbal instruction, but also in the example that they provide for them. Children learn by WATCHING their parents, and they are often found imitating their parents speech, mannerisms, etc. - are we paying attention to the example that Yeshua Messiah left for us, WATCHING Him and imitating Him in all we say and do? Yeshua Messiah kept the Sabbath (Luke 4:16, Mark 1:21), the Leviticus 23 Feasts (Matthew 26:18), and all the rest of YHWHs commandments perfectly (Hebrews 4:15, 1 Peter 2:22, 1 John 3:4) as the perfect example which we are to diligently follow after. Are we following HIS EXAMPLE, or are we merely partaking in worthless, manmade religion (Matthew 15:8-9)? It is time that we all carefully examine ourselves to see if we are truly in the faith... Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Yeshua Messiah is in you? — unless indeed you are disqualified. -2 Corinthians 13:5
