So many emotions this week. My husband is losing his dad. It is sad and it is uncharted territory for us and yet the most well-trod territory in human experience, I guess. But new to us; neither of us has lost a parent; all four of our grandmothers danced at our wedding. Weve been really lucky. Was talking to my own dad last night and thinking how fast it goes. Except for the carseat--we relied on moms arm to restrain us if really necessary, otherwise we flew around back there--this was Blue and me in dads car growing up. It both seems like yesterday and like a thousand years ago.
