So many frustrated men out there in our institutions of learning - TopicsExpress

So many frustrated men out there in our institutions of learning should not be there. Many of the school teachers in this country never ever dreamt of becoming teachers: they became teachers accidentally or because that was the only available option in a country where unemployability and unemployment reign supreme. That is why many of them keep complaining over increase in salary (for a job they probably never did). That is why not all those who call themslves teachers are truly teachers in the sense of the profession: some teach, while others cheat. When i say they cheat, im just alluding to the fact that theyre paid for a service they didnt render properly. Although many complain of lack of or scarcity of instructional materials, but i dont think that is a good excuse to provide poor quality knowledge to the leaders of tomorrow. Whatever the case may be, we all have to realise that the high level of mediocrity we face in almost all the sectors of our society today is because of the failure of those who were sadled with the responsibility of teaching. Anyway, teaching is probably one of the most difficult, yet influential professions of the world. KUDOS TO ALL THE TEACHERS PUTTING THEIR BEST TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE!!! May God help us. Amen!
