So many of us are experiencing our first Christmas without the presence of a loved one, and many of us are faced with changes in tradition that emphasize our loss. When you gather as friends and families, please remember to acknowledge the loss to the griever. It doesnt need to be a lengthy comment, even just a squeeze or hug will do. And please join me in a prayer that our thoughts will be drawn to happy memories and that peace will fill our hearts.
