So many of us are regretting that we did not make the most of this month. As Ramadan comes to a close, were at a loss for how quickly it went and how little weve done. But we still have a few fleeting moments. And this is the time to make the most of it! Ibn alQayyim reminds us, Perhaps you might be asleep while the doors of Heaven are knocking with tens of supplications for you, by a poor person you aided or a sad person you cheered up or a distressed person you brought relief to. Therefore, do not underestimate doing good at all.” And as Ibn Rajab tells us, Let those who have failed to make the most of this month end it with good, because actions are (judged) by their endings. Magnify your intention and be incredible to your family members, donate a little money (even a symbolic $1.00), make a little more dhikr as you cook your final iftar and be grateful you witnessed this month. Gratitude in and of itself is an act of worship- one which God promises to increase you in good through. End your Ramadan with something you wont regret, done for the sake of the One Who is All-Appreciative of every good.
