So many of us operate on a shallow , materialistic or superficial level when seeking a mate. We ask men, what type of work do they do, if they have their own house, we check to see what theyre driving. All these questions are self serving. We are looking to see if a man can do the following: 1. Enhance Us 2. Upgrade Us 3. Alleviate Us. We see if they can enhance our lives by adding to what we have already accomplished. We see if they are able to upgrade us. If we are living in an apartment, maybe they can upgrade us to a house. Maybe, if we are already in a house, they can put is in a larger house. Upgrade our cars. Our wardrobe, things of that nature. Or we see if they can alleviate us from everything. Pay all of our bills. Im not saying that a man shouldnt provide for his family. Im saying that we cant only seek fiscal maintenance. How many of us ask Men...Whats your relationship like with the Creator? Whats the last book you read? What are your plans to help our people out of our condition? Whats your vision? These questions are rare because we only want to know how they are able to help US. Men are leaders. We submit to the leadership of our husband. How will you know what type of leader he will be if you dont probe his mind? Investigate his spirit? If you end up under foolish leadership, whos fault is it? The fool that led you, or the fool that didnt see if he was qualified to lead you in the FIRST place? #TheAgitator
