So many of you know I am traveling a bit after spending 10 months at the South Pole. As an American outside his normal realm I usually think hey I wonder why Americans are looked down on or maybe why we are thought to be loud or ignorant. Well yesterday I got to see why. I overheard Americans talking loudly about college and that this one person couldnt believe they had a gay atheist teacher and then proceeded to talk of religion and how we need more of it in American culture. I didnt say a thing just thought to myself wow sure glad the dude you claim to follow would probably be pretty cool to hang with and not cast judgment on folks. This is why we are laughed at by most of the world. Such loud open angst towards people that are different than us. The world is too big and diverse just to think your way is the only way. I think the only thing the American people would get with more religion or god would be more war.
