So many of you know my chihuahua puppy Dixie is sick with a heart condition. I have been trying since last Wednesday to get her to take her medication. Shes been having seizures also. Ive tried everything... Cheese, peanut butter, ice cream, ham, milk bones crushed up with the pill, milk bone made into gravy w the pill. She will not take the medication. She can smell it in anything. Even the pill pockets I purchased at the vet. I called to report to the vet she was not taking her med. He says w her heart as bad as it is, all we can do is keep her comfortable. Minimize her running in this heat and keep her cool. He says she can go anytime. But she seems happy. Im just sad.
