So many people in so many countries protesting right now. Media blackout and silencing so no one feels compelled to learn why they are protesting. Theres some serious stuff happening in the world. #Taiwan #Brazil #Thailand #Venezuela #Spain #Syria #Turkey #Romania #Ecuador #Palestine #Bangladesh #America #SouthAfrica #Mexico #Canada Many of these are HUUUUGGGEEE protests, hundreds of thousands of people. This isnt a case of people whining about nothing. Corporate control has been stealing land, government and people for a long time. History will mark this time as one of the most crucial times, one where money has created such an unequal power structure that those who control have destroyed the earth, created genocides and led the most massive propaganda machines the world has ever known. And this is happening RIGHT NOW. So will you be put down in history as someone who did nothing? America likes to posit itself as the world saviour but America has been nothing but an imperialist war machine since its inception. America is complicit in many genocides but likes to pat itself on the back for taking down Hitler. Hitler self professed to be inspired by Americas treatment of black and indigenous people. America, the land built on slavery and fascism. Right now there is the biggest arms deal in history going down. We are selling 60 billion dollars worth of war machinery to Saudi Arabia. This is an interesting time. Time to start waking up from the slumber of our privilege. Theres a war going on and we (as Americans) are the ones fueling it.
