So many people were talking about it, so I finally read Divergent by Veronica Roth. Maybe I dont have the right mindset to read dystopian or fantasy literature because from the very beginning I was nagged by what-when-who-why questions of an America that somehow, inexplicably, got divided into five factions requiring lifetime membership. Who agreed to that? Under what circumstances? Is this sort of super-suspended belief something that books of this genre require, or is it required more with this series? Anyway, Id give it three stars. Simply and well-written, but I found it lacking.
