So many see the Christian life as an absolute progression or continuing levels of education. In reality, the life is all about a relationship. In relationships, there can be days of great communion and joy and some of disappointment and confusion, no matter how long you have been in the relationship. If you are grading yourself, STOP. If you are trying to figure out what spiritual college degree you have and how to get to the next, you are probably missing the goal. If you are having problems in life, it doesnt mean you failed a class. Life is tough at every stage and it can turn on a dime. Stay close to God, you will mature but have occasional setbacks. There will be great days, good days, bad days and horrendous days. There will never be a day you are unloved, overlooked or worthless to God.
