So me and the boo were in a car accident last night. Our cab was rear ended on the West side Highway by some guy who wasnt paying attention. I was originally pissed off, and am still a bit bothered, but after careful consideration I have to say we were totally blessed. The car that hit us was totaled. All his airbags were deployed, and you could see the inner workings of his front tires, power steering and antifreeze, and while we were definitely shaken the cab only sustained a damaged back light. Certainly the gods were on our side and for that we must be thankful. But PLEASE CHILL ON THE TEXTING, PHONE TALKING, AND NAVIGATING while actively driving. The young guy who hit us had to be preoccupied to have hit us that hard as we waited at a red light. A car can be a deadly weapon and at the end of the day that last text isnt worth anyones life! #donttextanddrive
