So medical update on Michael and I. Michael had to go in for a follow-up from the procedure that he had done in the late fall. All is well. Well, sort of. The situation can be managed with non toxic medication. I brought up, while in the office about something that I had seen on Dr. Oz. Well, once again, Dr. Oz was wrong. A week or so ago he had a show about laxatives. He claimed that taking ANY laxative was toxic and addictive. He said that it could harm your bowels if you took them on a daily basis. So, I asked my Butt Doctor what he had to say about it. My Doctor told me that as long as I remain on the ones that I do, that I will be fine. It seems that I now have motility issues in my bowels. Damn that diabetes! He is still putting me off for the colonoscopy. I think that he is just waiting for the time when I will no longer be able to use my bowels and will need to have a colostomy. So, there we are. The weather was nice today. I injured my back in the cab going up to the Clinic. The driver wore some over powering scent and hit every bump on the road. I cannot move my upper body at all without crying out in pain. Even my Doctor was concerned. If you live in the Oshawa area, DO NOT use Taxi Taxi. The driver coming home, swung my walker around in the air and hit a metal post car barrier with it. Naturally, I yelled out to him to be careful, not that it mattered much.
