So mom(Karen ) had her first true high desert experience this am. Temps were sub freezing for 10 hours with a low of 15. It is still only 24. But I am proud if her because she remember back I the east coast when this happened I a pinch you you use a light or blow dryer to thaw pipes. She had them flowing before I even got there. Good job Mom. Just to add it was so cold so long the deep puddles in my driveway froze thick enough I drove the suburban over it with out falling through, a goldfish was froze solid in the ice and I need the large pry bar to get through to water in the troughs!!!
