So mom is being discharged. Im sure it has something to do with her not having insurance. But the Dr said that with ovarian cancer they look for fluid in the pelvis and abnormal lymph nodes. When they did the ct scan it showed a small amount of fluid in the pelvis and the Dr said her lymph nodes were borderline. So basically the way she was saying it, its cancer but its probably early. They still need to schedule the surgery and do a biopsy to be 100% sure but they also need to find out what kind and what stage shes at. We are scheduling everything with primary physicians and obgyns and the oncologists tomorrow and we will go from there. They are already talking about chemo and radiation. I just want 5 minutes to digest this before my mother goes through this!
