So more on the hacking of my business bank account. I finally heard from Square today. Apparently the person who is running credit cards through my account has tried this week to push more than $11,000 in credit card sales into my account. I also found out that they are doing this using my ACTUAL business logo and invoices and are charging random credit cards for exorbitant amounts of money for photography services of all kinds. These hackers have stolen my logo, invoices, even my products and services lists. So it will appear on these innocent peoples credit card statements as my business. I also cannot believe the person actually had the nerve to then email me and ask me to send them the money that they had stolen from others and hidden in my bank account. We believe this all started when my email was hacked last week. I got an email from a trusted friend/business associate asking me to log into dropbox and view a document that they had sent me. I had not reason to suspect anything until I opened the document and realized that it was something random. I have changed all of my passwords and turned all things over to the fraud dept. at my bank but I hate to think that people will believe I was the one who stole their money. It looks like my business is the thief. I really think its time to un-plug from as much online activity as is possible. Life was better when we called and wrote letters and sent real mail.....
