So much in the news lately involving death, or at least its more noticeable because people I know are actually talking about it. Ive been reading a lot of books on the study of near death experiences and its uncanny how many see nearly the exact same thing. One was even a neurosurgeon that went brain dead from meningitis for a week, many of them and him described the feeling as being complete. Things like every question that comes to mind being accompanied with the answers or how what can be imagined comes to life. Nothing was black and white. There was no hell or suffering. All of that aside, there is no doubt of life after death in scientific terms with the process of molecules breaking down in decomposition where it forms with new life or returns to particles making up everything. Who is to say one doesnt have some form of consciousness in the action? The problem with humans it would seem, is the world we design in the prefrontal cortex. Not the one we live in, but make up. When you we look at animals for example, we often see what we call happiness and an unfaltering need to just live. I cant help but wonder if its because they havent evolved to disconnect from the world in the way we have. Billions of people, only prisoners of thought. What a crazy world filled with life that never comes to an end.
