So much music is cookie-cutter sounding. I am not one to listen to music much, but I do tend to like singers with unusual voices, that don’t sound like someone manufactured for mass consumption. Nothing wrong with that of course, if music touches you, listen to it.....each generation has its own music. We have to learn to listen to music, so when I say some music is cookie-cutter is is because I dont know how to listen to it. I am a fan of Macy Gray and Everlast, both great singers in my mind.
