So much so in the name of professionalism, passion for the game - TopicsExpress

So much so in the name of professionalism, passion for the game and give it all intent from our players is totally missing. These guys look like doing some 9 to 5 mundane job. Looking at their body language, I am pretty convinced they are crashing bores. No real charm and no real fun watching them. Only time when they look little competitive is when they bat well and unfortunately that too lack consistency. Bowling is horrible. We have spinners who cant be even half effective as rival spinners on a fair and sporting wickets abroad. We drop catches in slips like hot potatoes. Our spin bowlers need rank turners at home to justify their role of top class spinner. They make a failed attempt to justify their selection by batting a shade better than so called specialist batsmen. I think our so called fast bowlers bowl better at home. They are only decent in patches when they travel abroad. Every over we see couple of boundary balls with great consistency. It is the Indian in me which makes me get up early in morning only to see them getting bad to worse as the tour progresses. No pride, No intent and No shame. They have copied Aussies in behavior but not in performance. Its been an agonising wait really to see them improve and play with sense of pride and ulimately win few games. Last Test in Adelaide gave me more than a ray of hope but with this Test Match I have lost that level of hope too. If our team cant compete with this average Aussie side then I do not see them doing anything worthwhile in rest of the series.
