So much to be thankful for, even with all the adversity this year gave us....The ups and downs ...Starting with the twins of my niece Annie and her husband Christian, born premature in February, but you would never know it now thankfully-To my beautiful first granddaughter Arya Rose born in May-Then my father having a stroke 2 weeks later-following another announcement from my son Joe and his wife Jacqueline, that my 2nd grandchild will be here next March or late Feb :-) ...To my sister Kathy being diagnosed with a brain tumor in August -followed by her first beautiful grandbaby coming right before her surgery-To my fathers failing health in Oct-which ended with him going home to Jesus at the end of Oct-Nov brought us another new addition-my niece Alissa and her husband gave birth to a beautiful baby boy- and shortly my other niece Kaylene and her husband will be expecting their little bundle soon-Huge highs to Huge lows-Of course the biggest low ...Missing Papa more and more each day-My heart seems to be getting heavier with more time that passes but then its days like this, with all the new additions, that lightens my heart. I can feel my fathers love come through all the babies. I cant express enough to my entire family how thankful I am for every one of you. Papas message was always to love one another and everything will be alright. He was always proud of his family and I know he was looking down upon us all today, just as proud-My heart is hurting that I couldnt give him a hug, a big kiss on the cheek like I always did when we seen each other, to hearing the endless I love yous- I know everyone and especially my beautiful Mama felt that ache of emptiness without his presence today-May we remember on this day what is important? To continue to love with all your heart-remember we dont know what tomorrow brings-Be thankful for what you have today because tomorrow may be a different story- Forgive and dont forget to forgive yourself. I love each and every one of you more than you know-we have all been through a lot this year, but we did it together-That is what makes our bond even stronger -How blessed I feel!
