So much to say... Im now well over halfway through my first 30 days of clean eating. What I found to be best for me is : follow my meal plan (done by nutritionist) Mon- Fri and then on the weekends eat clean, but add in some of my favorites that are not written in throughout the week. I took this time off of coaching Crossfit to focus on rehabbing myself and easing back in to training while understanding I am far from my best, Im not here to PR, I have to heal, and I am here for me. The Training Pit has been my saving grace!!! They have welcomed me in, and have made me feel apart of! Showing up to the gym is a battle, working out is a battle, but they make it a smidget easier. I havent been able to really train or PR in a little over two years. This week I did a WOD with squat cleans at 125, deadlift at 205, was 5# from my snatch pr and hit 120, hang cleaned 155, clean and jerk (full) at 155, and PRd my squat clean at 165 (hit it three times trying to pr my C&J)... These are gains. This is not my reason I show up, but it is great! Some things are gifts and others you have to work for. Here are my halfway to 30 days pictures. Unsure of my current weight. If you are struggling with food and working out remember: Anyone can start something but it takes self-worth and self-love to follow through.
