So much to say about this..... Mostly to women. I heard a girl complain the other day that a man opened a door for her and she was absolutely offended.....because obviously that man felt that she did not have the ability to pull the door open. Whatever happened to a polite smile and a thank you? I hear women, young and aging, complain often about not being able to find good men. And then complain when a man does something kind, like open a door, or walk on the street side of the sidewalk. No wonder men choose to be less chivalrous. I kept my dates with Travis for a lot of reasons but one of the top 5 was because he was a gentleman through and through. I raise my son to be the same. Ever since the kid could walk, I follow him through a door. If he doesnt hold it for me, I dont go in. (Mommas, got the money, so I can stand there all day.) He learned early that holding doors got him smiles and thank yous from people. So ladies, wise up..... Stop being so wrapped up in being so independent that you cannot appreciate a man with manners. Chivalry is not dead, its just muffled by women who feel they have something to prove.
