So much to update everyone on and not sure where to start. To begin with Dance and I have had to draw out of the American Horsewomans Challenge. It was a difficult decision - but it was clearly the right one. He has healed from the splint on the left front, but when on stall rest and small paddock turn out he developed a tendon strain on the front right. Thankfully it is mild and it is healing, but it is there and he is not 100% sound on it. It hurts to let this go - the AHC that is... but it gives me peace to know that God has our Master Plan totally under control and any seeming set-back will only be used to send us higher onward to the next big thing - Just like you must draw back an arrow before you release it - often we must draw back in life to give the Divine Source the freedom to direct our arrow to our ultimate destination. I have no regrets. I am beyond honored to have been a part of such a unique event - even if it was only during the Journey to it. Jim Hutchins has really put his vision out there to the world and I hope the world will give it wings to fly - because this is such a wonderful cause - It is time Liberty is seen as a discipline (It is one of the prelims for the event) - There is SO much to it and for some people - until it is a judged discipline - theyll never explore it. There is just something about Magical Mustangs connected to me through invisible strings that makes me feel larger than life. It is a gift. A gift worth unwrapping. That leads me to the next thing I wanted to share. My Mustangs and I were selected to Headline at the NC State Fair this Oct! --- Guy McLean will be there Mon and Tues (Oct 20-21st) and we will take over Wed - Sat (Oct 22nd-25th) I have always wanted to paint a picture of joy and love through my Mustang team and now I have my chance! This show will be unlike anything that has been done before - because what is in my mind and heart has never been done before - In addition to my show with my Mustang team ... I am thankful to have some very talented friends sharing some of their relationships with their equine partners as part of the show as well - This includes JW and Casey Hiser with their LOPE Rescues Minis, Casey ( Carol Hiser ) and Jason Hiser with their Miracle Mustangs (remember that trailer wreck? - You must see them now!) ... Lauryn Zepeda and her brilliant Gringo, The Clicker Trained Mustang ... Kirsten Mew and her 2014 EMM Champion Mustang Slate, Neil Ward with his LOPE Rescues QH, Amanda Thompson with her AHC Paint, Hannah Smith with her Paint mare Izzy and much more! I will be bringing a herd of my colorful Mustang partners (even Dance if he is healed in time - but Ill have a trailer full regardless) and I can not wait to bring this vision to life! Much thanks for your prayers and positivity - I am so thankful for each of YOU.
