So my Mom is sewing part of my costume this year so I ordered some fabric which she received today. This was the email I received letting me know. I could not breathe by the end of it I was laughing so hard. OMG...Well, I see that you paid $4.99 for shipping and handling....and you sure got your moneys worth..LOL. first the box: long and skinny...odd but OK fabric is on a tube rather than folded. Open one end encounter a wad of heavy brown paper...odd we dont want any movement? Ok...do they think it might try to escape? So now theres something plastic? Is that ...bubble wrap??? Not sure what that prevents...fabric breakage??? Fabric shattering??? Takes several minutes of dad tugging on the box...,and me tugging on the apparently very fragile fabric bundle... finally the bundle is free....Well free from the box, at least. Now lets see...tape nay not tape ....wide cellophane packing tape every few inches along the 3 foot length of bubble nay, giant bubbled bubble wrapped bundle of what Im not sure... scissors cut the tape. Pop a few bubbles oops...loud. ..time for people to wake up anyway... now whats this? Wrapped in heavy brown and practically another layer of the clear carton packing tape...there. easy...careful not to slice the fabric...just the tape....3 days later....Oh ok...maybe only 30 minutes later...we have 5 yards,,, ( well not sure but am trusting that there are) of pristine...unbroken.. unshattered...muslin...by God!!!
