So my Mom purchased a Nook about a week ago so she could get her email, FB and check her bank accounts. Tonight she came and got Mike and said her Nook was telling her that it shutting down. When Mike checked it had a very low charge left so he got the charger and plugged the entire system into the wall in the dining room via an extension cord so she could continue to use the device. After about 30 minutes she said she was done and was going back to her room. Next thing I hear is Mike yelling at her to stop. She had managed to get her wheelchair tangled in the cord and the Nook came off the table and was following her behind the chair. She had no clue this was happening. All I can say is Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Rachel for suggesting we get the 2 year replacement warranty. May end up using that before long.....
