So my Moms main Doctor was in just a bit ago ~ he said that my Moms insurance company is trying to kick her out of here and into a rehab facility. He told me that he had to put his foot down with them so my Mom isnt going anywhere. He said that she will be here at minimum another week. The bone marrow test will be postponed for a week until she is well enough to undergo the test. Dr. Salem did say that she has a lot of medical issues going on but he is not going to worry about any of them until he gets the infections under control. The enlarged spleen and extremely low white count still have them baffled. She will continue on the Piperacillin and Tazobactam and 500 mg of Levaquin every 6 hours to see what happens. She is less and less confused as the days go by so that tells me the medications are working but the doctor said not nearly as fast as they expected them to ~ so we wait.
