So my favorite uncle, L. Jay Oliva, the 14th President of NYU, passed away last week. So people honoring him include Neil Diamond, Alec Baldwin, and a huge number of other well known people. He is noted for making huge changes at NYU and positive influence to large numbers of students over a 12 year period.
