So my first ever Kwik Trip year-end meeting went very well. Its extremely impressive to see the CEO of a corporation putting effort into speaking at multiple meetings a year just so his employees know whats going on. We were told how money was spent, whats being implemented, whats going on with the budget next year, etc. The CEO of a corporation shares 40% of pre-tax profit with his employees. Beat that. Anyhow the downside was me wanting to stab young women behind me. The CEOs wife read a story of a Kwik Trip employee giving the socks off his feet to a boy who came to the store without. The employee was 18 and apparently cried afterward because he felt so bad for the boy. The girls behind me reacted with E Grooosss. Are you kidding me? If your family couldnt afford new socks, youd honestly turn down the kind gesture!? Twats.
