So, my foster girl, Amber who Ive decided to adopt has been here about 7 weeks and things are going fairly well, but just wondering why we cant seem to get her to play with us. She and my boy will go at it all day, but she gets standoffish when we attempt to get her to interact with us. She will cuddle and is relaxed when we are just laying around, but is unsettled a lot of the time. She has some obvious anxiety issues, as she tends to pace sometimes and acts concerned when we roughhouse with Tank. Does she just need more time to get acclimated to us and what may some good ways to loosen her up and get her to play? Tia :)
