So my gran passed away a few months back, I still miss her, but the other day my mother was telling me about a conversation she had with my aunt. Now keep in mind my grandmother was a woman of faith, she went to a pentecostal church, never cut her hair, wore a dress or gown everywhere she went, didnt use makeup or wear jewelry. This week my aunt was having a dream, and she said my grandmother came to her in a dream appearing as she had when she was much younger, her hair was only shoulder length and curly, and she was wearing white slacks with a blue blouse. My aunt had remarked about this to my grandmother in the dream and her only response to that was "Ever since we moved up there, I found out it never really mattered to begin with" Some of my family think this is a trick of the devil, I on the other hand think its a divine message. In my mind it is my grandmother being a holy messenger from on high bearing one simple message from the Lord. Stop worrying about stupid crap like what clothes you wear and what hair style you have, and just be decent people. In life my grandmother could be cruel and mean, and would always comment on how the little things would get someone sent to hell, like women wearing pants or cutting there hair. I know today that hell was not her final destination, and that despite how harsh she could be, how cruel she could be, her faith was the only thing that got her in the pearly gates. I wanted to share this with any of my christian friends out there because it weighed on my heart. Remember this simple saying, God is in the big picture, but the devil is in the details. If you worry about minor insignificant things it takes away from your ability to see the whole. In death it wont matter what clothes you wore in life, or what hair style you had, or that you had that tattoo on your butt from one bad drunken night...this body will die and decay, its not going with you. I am not saying go out and destroy it, it is a vessel. What I am saying is dont worry about the details...worry about the big picture, because in the end as we have heard before it is by faith not by works that we enter the kingdom of heaven. Faith doesnt care about the details, faith doesnt care if you wear pants or shorts or nothing at all. Anyway God bless, have an awesome weekend, and to my friends over in customer service this weekend... you tuesday :) (also just a kind note to those of you that have my skype account, I get on there when I am not working, I dont want to be contacted with pawzgroup related issues. There is a support ticket system and a support group for that, use it pretty please. I get two whole days a week off to myself I wouid like to keep it that way)
