So, my heart just skipped several beats. i saw the weather was getting worse here and wanted to get the dogs outside before it hits. my lazy pit bull was laying in her kennel, door open of course with her blankets. i told her Calli, you have to get up, go outside. She was laying there with her eyes open and i knelt down next to her and said Callie get up stop being lazy and reached down to pet her muzzle and get her collar to get her up and she SNARLED at me... a big, snarly pit bull scary snarl. i jumped back and told her NO!! You dont do that! And i shut her kennel door and told her BAD! i am so upset i am almost crying. Did i scare her? even though her eyes were open was she really asleep? She has bad habits at times as shes just a bit over two... but never have i been afraid of my dog until now. Dont know what to do about it.
