So my husband calls me today and says Im ok, but I was in an accident. Theyre cutting me out of the car right now. Turns out the sirens I was hearing were helping my husband, he was a few blocks over. I drove over and came upon the crash. He is okay, its a miracle he got hit and walked away from that wreck. He was going through an intersection on a green light and someone ran the red light and t-boned him. It spun him around several times and flipped the car. He had on his seatbelt and was kept in place hanging there until he could get freed. Every witness confirmed that he had a green light, that it was the other drivers fault and that she never even slowed down. They also all said they didnt think anybody could walk out of that car after what happened. Hes going to be sore, but today, my miracle in life is him still being here. Were home from the hospital and hes resting. Im feeling beyond grateful that my husband is still here and that he was not more seriously injured. Also, it should be noted that one of his initial frustrations was, I had an In-and-Out burger in the car!
