So my kids went back to school today and Im feeling some type of way. I officially have two kids in high school ... a freshman and a sophomore.. and for the first time on the first day of school I felt like they really didnt need me. I woke up at 5:30am...They were already awake... I get my phone ready to take pictures and wait patiently for them prepared their back packs with a binder pin and paper...They took it out and said mommy all we need is a pen and paper and we dont have time for pictures we might miss the bus. (No first day of school pictures...Really) My feelings were so hurt realizing that my babies really arent babies anymore. Thank God for my little second grader who gladly posed for pictures even though she didnt let me pick her outfit! I wish they could all be babies for a little while longer
