So my new (used) motorcycle is a whole lot wilder than the tame BMW Id originally planned to buy. BMWs ride like theyre on rails, with smooth acceleration, gentle braking and seemingly programmed movement through every twist and turn. KTMs on the other hand are like riding a nympho on a first date; lotza fun but not without some scary and potentially dangerous motions and moments. The next few weeks will be the most hazardous as I reacclimate not only to riding but also to the challenge of safely mastering a motorcycle which clearly has the power and temperament to put me in my place.
