So, my oldest son is turning 11 this weekend! I already know the food temptations are going to get hard to resist...cake, ice cream, pizza, chips, etc. I have a plan set up though to help me limit my intake, which I think will allow me to have a treat, but not over-indulge. I will drink a big glass of water about fifteen minutes before the meal to help from binging when the food arrives. Also, I will drink a second glass of water with the meal and a third before dessert...it will help me reach my water consumption goal AND not over eat! How do you ration your "treats"?? Do you have strong enough willpower to really eat just one chip or one small piece of cake? How do you do it successfully?
